The meeting was opened by Brother Milam at 7:00 P.M. on
29 July 2002. Brother Cottrell led in prayer,
Bother Davis led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Brother Hacket read the American
Creed.
Old business: The minutes from the
previous meeting were approved.
New Business:
Topper Birney was our speaker. Mr. Birney spoke about his distinguished family
including his great-great Uncle Maj. Gen David B. Birney and his
g-g-grandfather Brig Gen. James Birney.
Two pictures will be auctioned off
with the proceeds going to the Camp.
The pictures, Battle of Fredericksburg, and Battle of Fair Oaks, can be
