The meeting was opened by Brother Steve at 7:00 P.M. on 24 February 2003.  Brother Geoffrey led the Pledge of Allegiance, Brother Gordon led in prayer, and Brother Brian led the Americas Creed.

 

Old Business

A motion was made by Brother Brian to remove nonpaying members if dues not paid by March 31.  Brother James Johnson seconded the motion.  It passed.

 

Bother Talbot, Brian, Sid and Geoffrey were voted credentials to Dept of Tenn Encampment. Brothers Steve and David also have credentials by virtue of Department of Tennessee office.

 

The Memorial Day event will be at Glenwood Cemetery.  The 42nd Indiana will have 6 for the color guard at Glenwood.  Brother Steve will handle publicity.  Brother Sid will handle the program.

 

The Maple Hill Cemetery Stroll is coming up.  Brothers Steve, Brian, Sid, and David are planning to participate.

 

New Business

Brother Gordon wants to know if SUVCW wants to march in St Pat parade on March 17.  There was not enough interest.

 

Brother Don asked about donating Medals to Museum.  Brother Steve will check with National.

 

Brother Brian announced that the Camp registered 85 Graves.

 

For the Program , Brother James Johnson’s father talked about his WWII experiences.

 

Brother Gordon Closed the meeting in prayer

 

Next Meeting: March 24, 2003, 7:00 P.M, at Highlands United Methodist Church.
