On February 23, 2004, the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Pvt. Richard Taylor, Camp 53, met at 7pm for the monthly meeting.

Camp business:

The Date for Dept of Tennessee Encampment is set for February 28, 2004. (Note was held on that date. Photos and information available at http://pvtrichardtaylor.bizland.com/id13.html)

Dues of $25 for the year January 2004 through December 2004 are now due. Fees include, $18 to National, $2 to the Department, $3 for Sons of Veterans Reserve, and $2 to the Camp for Camp activities. Make checks out to SUVCW and send dues to Steve Pearce 106 Sunnyfield Drive, Madison Al 35758.

Next meeting, Monday March 29, 2004, 7:00 P.M., at Highlands United Methodist Church, 3921 Broadmor Road, Huntsville, Alabama. See camp webpage under Directions and maps to meeting for driving information.

From the Secretary: As of January 31, 2004, the Camp consists of 21 members, which includes one life member. The Camp also reports one additional Junior member.

From the Treasurer: As of January 31, 2004, the Camp checking account reports a balance of $311.72 and the saving account maintains an additional balance of $25.00.
