Brothers:  There have been a lot of Camp activities over the last couple of months.  On Monday October 27, 2003, the Commander of the Department of Tennessee Charles Engle installed the 2003-2004 Camp Officers.  The ceremony was held at the Huntsville Veterans Museum.

 

The members inducted as Camp Officers for the Nov-2003 to October 2004 term are as follows.

 

Brother Hintze-Camp Commander and Historian

Brother Burke-Sr. Vice Commander and Publicity Chairman

Brother Billings-Jr. Vice Commander

Brother Pearce- Secretary/Treasurer

Brother Cottrell-Chaplin

Brother Davis-Camp Guard

Brother Gaddy-Camp Color Bearer

Brother Hogan-Graves Registration

Brother Milam, PCC-Camp Guide

 

Other Camp business: 

 

On November 11, 2003, Commander Hintze, Brother Pearce, Brother Hogan, and Brother Johnson, represented the Camp and rode in the Huntsville Veterans Day Parade.

 

The Date for Dept of Tennessee Encampment is set for February 28, 2004.

 

For November and December meetings it was voted to have a joint meeting/Pot Luck dinner on December 13, 2003, at the home of Brother Milam.  Details are still being worked and will be followed up in a later email.

 

Dues of $25 for the year January 2004 through December 2004 are now coming due.  Fees include, $18 to National, $2 to the Department, $3 for Sons of Veterans Reserve, and $2 to the Camp for Camp activities.  Make checks out to SUVCW and send dues to Steve Pearce 106 Sunnyfield Drive, Madison Al 35758.
